hybrid irons

I recently purchased a set of Nike Slingshot irons. I like that 3 and 4 hybrids, but the other irons are have a wide sole which I do not like. These irons are heavier and I do not swing as fast. What is a good iron set that has a 3 and 4 hybrid and traditional 5-PW irons? Thanks.

I love the hybrid golf clubs. I bought my first one a few years ago. An 18 degree Nike CPR2. After that I bought the 21 degree and 24 degree. I love all three and hit well with each one. The problem is I stink with a driver. I don’t really have the time or desire to practice with a driver, so I’m sticking with the hybrids off the tee. I know Nike makes a 15 degree hybrid, but does anyone make one with a lower loft angle to mimic a driver. A hybrid driver? Does it exist or are there any plans for one?

Out of all the golf clubs there are out there… Which would you put as the best in each category… and don’t forget about special clubs like hybrids, and belly putters. Be sure to include your choice in these categories, here is an example with my choices

Driver- Taylor-Made R9 460

Woods- Callaway Big Bertha Diablo

Irons (3-9)- Cleveland Hi-bore XLi hybrid irons

Pitching Wedge- Cleveland Hi-bore XLi PW

Sand Wedge- Cleveland Hi-bore XLi SW

Putter- Nike OZ #6

Just curious as to what some people on this website are hitting club/ball wise.

For me it’s:

Driver: Nike Sasquatch 460 9.5 w/ ACCRA XC 75 shaft
Fairway: Nike Sasquatch 5 wood
Hybrid: 3H Nike Ignite
Irons: (4-W) Niker Ignite
Wedges: Nike SV 52*, Nike TW Wedge 56* and 60*
Putter: Nike B.C-101
Ball: Varies. Callaways/Titleist/Nike/Taylormades

Saving up for a new set of irons and hopefully a Nike Unitized Techno putter.

I play golf about once a week.right now i am playing w/a starter set I bought from academy, the “sa-95 john daly” set.I did replace the driver w/ the affinity 460cc “cube” driver, though.I was searching the internet for some better irons to purchase and I keep running into these off-brand versions of very expensive clubs. The ones in particular im referring to are the cheap version of the nike sasquatch. They look identical to the sasquatch, but the entire set is only $260. I copied and pasted the link below, please will any EXPERIENCED golfer give me your informed opinion. (I dont need any smart remarks from someone saying “you get what you pay for”, or something like “stop being cheap and buy the real thing”.Im looking for FACTS, not rude opinions.)
