hybrid golf clubs

I am about to get a new set of clubs and i don’t know at what distance I am supposed to use a hybrid.

Good, inexpensive hybrid golf clubs for beginner. Suggestions?

  • A Squash Player - On the tee box:

    You would use them at the same distance you would use a long iron
    3h=3iron
    4h=4iron
    5h=5iron

    Each person has different physical characteristics so there is no one definite answer. Once you buy your clubs, go to a range or course and experiment with each club. You determine the minimum and maximum distances you hit each club with varying swing speeds.. This is how to become an accomplished golfer.

    Be aware that a hybrid will generally fly slightly farther than the iron it replaces. The weight distribution allows for more lag and more clubhead speed, thus increasing distance. Try to keep distance gaps to a maximum of 15 yards (the general distance spacing between clubs).
